Conducting Training of Trainers (TOT) for Farmer Leaders on Safe Crop Production and Post-Harvest Loss Management
This project was designed to empower farmer leaders with advanced knowledge, practical skills, and training techniques in the areas of safe crop production and post-harvest loss management. By building the capacity of selected farmer leaders through an intensive Training of Trainers (ToT) model, the initiative aimed to establish a sustainable, peer-led knowledge dissemination system that directly contributes to improved agricultural practices, food security, and livelihoods in rural communities.
The initiative focused on equipping local farmer leaders with not only the technical know-how but also the pedagogical skills necessary to train fellow farmers within their communities. By fostering leadership and promoting knowledge transfer, the project sought to enhance overall farming productivity, reduce post-harvest losses, and improve market readiness of agricultural products.
